- CB-Lin 0.25 Tablet contains cabergoline, which belongs to a class of medicines called dopamine agonists. - It is primarily used for the treatment of hyperprolactinemia, a condition characterized by abnormally high levels of the hormone prolactin in the body. - The medicine helps manage conditions caused by excess prolactin, such as infertility and abnormal production of breast milk (galactorrhea). - It works by acting on dopamine receptors in the brain to decrease the release and secretion of prolactin. - Additionally, it is used to stop or suppress physiological breast milk production (lactation) in females in cases of stillbirth, abortion, or miscarriage.
